Rockland County officially Enters Phase 2 of Coronavirus Reopening

It's no surprise that the pandemic has had a devastating effect on Rockland's small businesses. Even those deemed essential and allowed to operate during the state-mandated shutdown have felt the pain. Yet, businesses can begin seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Rockland County officially entered into Phase 2 of reopening, which includes the opening of offices, real estate, hair salons and barbershops and even outdoor dining. Local businesses can begin implementing a plan to safely reopen with social distancing and masks still mandated by law. Though the numbers seem to indicate positive trends in the battle against the coronavirus, Rockland officials warn that the need to maintain vigilance remains as two more people reportedly died from the disease recently.
