This article explains what you need to do to permit your Android device to install the MevApp from outside the Play Store via a process called "APK Installation." This works on Android 7 and later.

Enabling "Unknown Apps"
Before you can install an APK file through your device's file manager, you must give that app permission to do so. This is done through a toggle in the Settings app.

Open the Settings app and tap Apps or Apps & Notifications.

Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner. If you don't see that, skip down to the next step.

Tap Special access, or Special app access on some Android devices.

Tap Install unknown apps.

Tap Chrome (or whichever web browser you use).

Switch the toggle next to Allow from this source so it turns on.

Do the same for My Files app.

Accept any prompts you might see about the file being potentially harmful. For example, tap Download anyway or OK.
Tip: The MevApp APK file can take up some space on your device. You can delete the file once the installation is finished to free up storage. Doing this will not delete the app.
Unzipping the file
Before installing the MevApp, the file needs to be unzipped (or extracted). Once unzipped, the APK file will be available for installation. Follow the steps below:

Open the My Files app and locate the "the_mevapp_apk_file" file and select it by taping on it.

Tap Extract and then Extract again.

Once the system finishes extracting the folder, the "the_mevaser.apk" file will be available for installation.
Installing the MevApp
To install the MevApp APK file on your Android, you need to first enable the file manager to allow the My Files app to install unknown apps. This was explained earlier. Click here to see those instructions again. Here's how to install the MevApp APK file via the My Files app:

Having previously extracted the "the_mevaser.apk" file, locate it and tap on the file name. An install dialogue should pop up.

Tap Install and wait for the system to install the app. After a few moments, the app will be fully installed and show up next to all your other apps.

You can then choose to Open the app or tap Done if you plan to open it later.
